Lori Dite, Director of Student Services
Mrs. Dite has been at Morris Community High School since 2004. Initially, she was employed by the Grundy County Special Education Cooperative (GCSEC) in 2003 as a Special Education Teacher, working her first year in junior high at Saratoga Elementary School, and then went on to teach special education from her second year on at Morris Community High School, later serving as the Special Education Department Chair, then the Dean of Special Populations, Director of Special Populations, and in her current role as the Director of Student Services. Mrs. Dite graduated with a B.A. in Special Education (LBS1) from University of St. Francis in 2003, and an M.S. in Educational Leadership with Principal Licensure and Director of Special Education Endorsement from University of St. Francis in 2015. Her professional interests center on issues of Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), special education advocacy, and program development. In her free time, Mrs. Dite enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, as well as going to concerts and enjoying sunny rides in her convertible.
